The following are common questions we hear:

What do I need to bring in with my computer?
    Usually, just the computer (tower).  We do not need cables, monitor, mice, or keyboards.  However, if you are bringing in a laptop we request that you also bring in the power adapter.  If you suspect a problem with any other equipment, please bring that in also.  Feel free to call us to determine what equipment we need to see.

How long is your turn around time?
    Currently we maintain about a 24hr turn around.  Some jobs can take longer if special parts are needed.  Emergency services are available.

Do I need an appointment?
   
No.  Walk-ins are welcome.  We work on computers in the order they are received.

What does it cost to look at my computer?

    We will listen to the description of your problem and provide an estimate for free.  However, to provide an accurate quote there is a $29 bench fee for our full in-depth diagnostic service.  This fee is applied towards the final repair costs if you choose to have us go ahead with the repairs.  This bench fee is non-refundable.

Will I lose my important pictures and other documents?
    We recommend that you backup any important data before you have your computer serviced.  Our repair procedures will not usually erase your data.  However, we do offer a backup service for an extra fee if there is the risk of data loss.

What types of payment do you accept?
    You can pay with cash, check, money order, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, debit, Paypal, or on-line.

Can I make payments on my computer?
    Yes.  We will hold your equipment for up to 90 days.  You may make payments during that period with no penalty.  If your computer is not paid off within 90 days the equipment and any payments are forfeited.  Equipment cannot be picked up until it is paid for in full.

Do I need to pay anything up front?
    Generally we do not need any money up front.  However, all special order items must be paid for in full before ordering.

Do you travel on-site?
    Yes.  Fuel and travel charges may apply.

Is it better to bring my computer in or to have you travel to me?
    It is always better to bring your computer to us for service.  It is much cheaper and we are able to do a more thorough diagnostic job because of the amount of time involved.  On-site service is best left for businesses.

Do you pick up and deliver?
    We can pick up and deliver your computer if needed.

Can you fix laptops?
    We specialize in laptop repair.  We are able to service any and all issues with laptop computers including LCD screen repair, power jack repair, and motherboard repair.

Do you work on Macs?
    Macs are not our primary business and we are not a certified Apple service center, but we can repair your Mac.  Turn around times may be longer for Mac repairs.  Standard service charges apply.

Can you fix my game system?
    We are a computer and IT services company. We do not fix phones, game systems, or other electronic equipment.

Do you work on printers?
    Yes, but only high end printers.  Anything else is simply not cost-effective to fix.  Please buy a new one.

Do you have laptop power adapters?
    Yes.  We have genuine, original adapters for most major laptop brands.  We do not sell low quality universal adapters at ridiculously high prices like many other places.

Do you sell parts?
    We stock the most common parts we require to perform repairs and upgrades on computers.  However, we do not sell parts to end users.  Sale of parts is limited to in store installation.

Do you sell computers?
    We can custom build computers but in most cases it is not cost effective for people to build custom computers nowadays.  We try to limit our builds to high end gaming systems and servers.  For all others we can consult with you on a good name brand computer.

Do you buy used equipment?
    Absolutely not.  Under no circumstances will we purchase used equipment from an end user.

Do you sell used computers?
    Yes.  Occasionally we have used equipment for sale, but it is very rare.
